In the real world, I go by Amanda; Mandy Sue is an endearing nickname from my college friends.

I’m a mom to Zian and a partner to Gary. I used to be a restauranteur, but now I am a stay-at-home-mom and avid home-cook. I like to make recipes from both the East and the West. I took a cooking class in Florence when I studied there in spring of 2007 and it inspired a career of pizza making. Now, I am exploring the foods of Asia, inspired by Gary’s Chinese roots and both of our love of Asian cuisines.

In addition to my love of cooking, I have a passion for travel. I want to share some of special places I’ve had the pleasure of visiting (along with my family), and I hope you’ll be inspired by the world through my lens.
